Exhibitions

The exhibition space seeks to show an engaging programme of contemporary visual arts and crafts to as wide an audience as possible. The changing exhibition space ensures that visitors can be certain to find something new to inspire and excite. It provides professional artists and craftspeople living or working in Slough, Berkshire and the South East with a platform from which to show and sell their work.

The West Wing Arts Centre shows an average of 10 exhibitions a year including solo exhibitions, thematic shows, exhibitions that complement performances at the venue.

All visitors are encouraged to experience visual arts and crafts, whatever their knowledge or experience of contemporary art. Visitors are welcome to stop by and explore the art in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Mike Swift - I Am A Piece Of Slough
9th March - 4th April
Mike has worked taking photographs for the local newspaper in Slough for over 20 years. This photographic exhibition will include 15 portraits of the most interesting, infamous, ordinary and valuable members of the Slough community.
Hidden Garden Project
6th April – 18th April

Sssshhhh…it’s a secret. Pay a visit to the newly opened West Wing hidden garden, an oasis away from the daily grind. Designed in consultation with Edward Llewellyn around the theme of re-using and recycling.  

Santosh Dasoondi - Waves of Subtle Beauty: Divine, Woman and Nature
20th April – 16th May

There is a lot of unrecognised beauty in each life. Expression of beauty, however, is varied most subtle waves of beauty are often just an indication. Divine principle underlying the universe finds expression in beauty of a woman and splendour of nature. The exhibition includes art work on Lord Krishna, ancient Egypt and nature. Relief art has been used to add third dimension to oil on canvas.
