Volunteer

Are you passionate about the arts? Do you have some free time? Would you like to make a difference?

Then come and volunteer at the West Wing Arts Centre. It’s a great way to experience the arts, make friends and develop your skills. We have opportunities in lots of areas including ushering, office administration, box office, technical, bar and promotions. You will receive full training and will be able to see or participate in many of our events for free.        

We currently have over 90 volunteers. Here’s what some of them have said about their experience:

"I'd always been interested in the theatre and was disappointed that I could find nothing of that nature when I moved to Slough. One day I overheard somebody talking about the West Wing and volunteering so I called them up and was invited in for a chat and a tour. That was it. It seemed the ideal way to get out of the house and meet people, do something for the community, and have some entertainment; all things I needed to do." Ric Cooper       

"For me the best part of volunteering is having fun. Whether it’s with the other West Wing staff and volunteers, or with the public, just trying to make them smile. Also, experiencing the events that are held there has been interesting and often very enjoyable." Keith Hughes
