West Wing Rep
The West Wing Rep is an amateur company set up in May 2008 that produces high quality productions. The company brought their first production of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest to the West Wing Arts Centre in November 2008.
The company was created to:
- Offer local people the opportunity to take ownership of work presented and produced at a professional venue
- Offer local people the opportunity to perform at a dedicated theatre venue with professional support
- Help develop local talent and offer them a support system to develop their skills and confidence and to display their talent
- Provide a platform for local writers to experiment and expand their repertoire
- Offer a wide variety of theatrical experiences for its members and audience alike

What we expect…
- Members to act as ambassadors for the West Wing Arts Centre
- Members to volunteer for the West Wing Arts Centre at least once per season (3 times per year)
- Members to sign an agreement of commitment to the rep company and commit for one year
How to join…
- Entry process includes an application form and an informal interview / audition depending on your interest area (i.e. back stage or acting).
- There is an annual intake of members and applications are now accepted for 2009.
- Deadline for applications is March 2009
